it took me 2 hours from home to ntu's medical centre and on the way back, slightly longer than 2 hours coz i overshot by a station. If it was after a long day at school, i couldve overshot by more.

Had a trip down memory lane when i decided to log in into Friendster.

While i was hiding within the comforts of my room, the place where you would find me whenever im not out on official business (read: work), im suddenly accompanied by friends whom ive known over the past decade or so. Some look totally different. Some look exactly as they were when they're in primary 2. Some have kids. Some have found their idea of a partner.

For each of them, a story tenderly unfolds.

The Speaker

I love the first speaker from Madrasah Al-Maarif. By that i mean her skills. She really did very well and truly deserved the Best Speaker award. I was just smiling in amazement for the entire 4 minutes of her turn. She did the Malay community proud. If ever I need a role model for public speaking, she'll be that role model. But i find the second speaker totally weak and the third, could have been better. But awesome effort nonetheless! Nur Diyanah Hardy. I can just imagine her googling her name and reading the writs of all those who were mesmerised by her performance.

Been listening to covers done by ordinary people on youtube after reading an article from today about artists like Colby Caillet and Marie Digby. And some are really not that bad.

Been having fun givin tuition. First real test coming up -- their midyear. Hope i can see some improvements in their grades.
