Deconstructing one's self

As I "deconstruct" myself, I look for flaws that lie within me and I try to "fix" it. I strive for that perfection. I am a perfectionist.

One flaw is this tendency to put others before self to the extent that I neglect my own self. Another is the constant need to reflect and think about the things I have done, am doing or about to do. According to people who have observed me sufficiently, this then makes me a less confident person. Am I? I don't think I am.

It's kinda interesting to be the subject of an analysis. The ability to look at one's self from someone else's eyes had allowed me to deconstruct myself further. Insyaallah, I'll be a better person one day.

Why thank you for those nice words!

A wonderful poet? I don't remember writing poetry though but I've been told the way I write can be somewhat poetic.

And yes, I'll keep writing. The day words stop flowing will be the day I stop thinking, breathing. Glad u like it, just another writer!

poets are not only people who write poetry, but people who love words and feel words, who feel that words are more than what you look up in the dictionary, who find joy in stringing words together, who find life in words. there's that difference between people who write and people who love to write - and you're one of the latter. at least, that's what i think of you when i read your writings. :)

Hahaha. You know, I'm flattered. You're right though. I can spend hours just figuring out how best to put across my ideas as beautifully as possible.

I guess it takes one to know one.

You know what to be honest I really never get what that means, "it takes one to know one"? Do you think you can explain?

It means that I'm pretty sure you too write in a style somewhat similar to mine.

I'm pretty sure u too, love words and feel words, find joy in stringing words together, who find life in words. I'm pretty sure that as you wrote that comment, you're describing how you feel whenever you write an entry.

Because it takes one, to know one.

Yes, you're right. It does take one to know one now that I understand what it means. For I described mostly what I felt - or feel, to be precise.

Anyways. Happy writing! :)

Hahaha. Sorry if I analysed you a little. Can't help but see myself in your comments coz once upon a time, I too used to do the same. Afterall, we're but just another writer.

Thanks for dropping by! Don't be surprised if just another writer decides to drop your blog a visit one day to say hi. Happy writing! (:
